The experience, day by day
Your itinerary
Day 1 · Welcome to Cagliari
Arrive in Cagliari and transfer to your hotel. Settle in before meeting your host and fellow travellers for a welcome aperitivo and dinner introducing the flavours of Sardinia.
Day 2 · Cagliari, Through Local Eyes
Explore the city with a local guide, discovering historic neighbourhoods, narrow streets and panoramic viewpoints. Enjoy tastings that introduce Sardinia’s culinary traditions. The afternoon is yours to explore independently, browse boutiques or linger over lunch. Your host will share personal recommendations for dinner.
Day 3 · Carloforte: A Different Island Story
Depart early for a full-day excursion to Carloforte, travelling by private vehicle and ferry to San Pietro island. Discover colourful streets and distinctive Tabarchino heritage with a local guide, then enjoy a special lunch celebrating Mediterranean flavours. Spend the afternoon strolling along the waterfront before returning to Cagliari in the evening.
Day 4 · Into Ogliastra
Leave Cagliari and travel towards Ogliastra, with a carefully chosen stop and time for lunch along the way. Arrive at your coastal retreat and enjoy a relaxed afternoon before gathering for dinner.
Day 5 · The Coast of Baunei by Sea
Discover the coastline on a private boat excursion, passing dramatic limestone cliffs and beautiful coves. Enjoy opportunities to swim and relax, with the itinerary shaped by your skipper according to sea conditions. Return to the hotel for an evening at your own pace.
Day 6 · Ogliastra, Around the Table
Head inland for a day devoted to local traditions and hospitality. Meet a local host and discover the art of making culurgiones, the beautifully folded pasta closely associated with this region. Share a leisurely lunch and explore the surrounding village or countryside before returning to the coast.
Day 7 · North to Gallura
Continue north, breaking the journey with a local visit and a relaxed lunch. Arrive in Gallura in the afternoon, with time to settle into your hotel before dinner together.
Day 8 · A Day Among the Islands
Set out on a private boat excursion through the La Maddalena archipelago. Discover granite-framed shores and clear waters, with time to swim, relax and enjoy lunch on board. The route will reflect weather conditions and permitted access. Return in the afternoon for a leisurely evening.
Day 9 · Gallura’s Villages & Vineyards
Discover another side of northern Sardinia, exploring a characterful village before visiting a local wine producer for a tasting focused on Vermentino. Enjoy free time in the afternoon, then gather for a farewell dinner celebrating the flavours and shared moments of your journey.
Day 10 · Farewell Sardinia
Your journey ends with departure from Olbia. Departure arrangements will be specified in the final programme.

Before you book
Arrivals and departures: the route begins in Cagliari and ends in Olbia. Confirm your departure before arranging flights; flights are not included in the advertised price.
Your proposal: request the named hotels, room category, exact meal and transfer inclusions, any supplements and booking conditions. These details will be set out in the final programme.
On the water: boat routes and swimming opportunities depend on sea conditions and permitted access. The final arrangements will reflect local conditions.
Group confirmation: each departure requires at least six participants. Ask us about the confirmation status of your chosen date before committing to separate travel arrangements.
